Drew Brothers Enduro SUPER Clinic: Sansom Park, Fort Worth TX 8AM-12PM
September 24, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm| $129
The much anticipated Drew Brothers Enduro “SUPER” Clinic is here! This has been in the works for quite some time and we are pleased to partner with the Forth Worth Mountain Bikers Association to bring you this event. Southern Enduro Champion Richard Drew will back up two time Masters class Big Mountain Enduro Champion Rob Drew in this jam packed one day event. The killer trails of Sansom Park in Fort Worth will be the backdrop for a day of learning and applying proven technique. Using a curriculum that has been specifically developed over the past three years, Rob and Richard will break down the key elements for better technique and success in trail riding and Enduro racing. These elements will include:
Here’s how the day will look:
8-8:45- Ground School- This is where we will outline and explain the philosophy behind the key elements of sound technique. The Ground School will lay the foundation for not only the day’s learning, it will also instill thinking practices that will keep these newfound skills with you for years to come.
8:45-9:30- Skills and Drills- The cones will be setup and we will work through a progression of turning exercises to drill in the recently learned technique. Rob and Richard will be watching each rider and giving feedback on the spot. Again, many of these exercises are easily transferable to your local trail or neighborhood.
9:30-11:30: Take it to the trail! We will move to key areas on the trail and hone the technique. Rob and Richard will explain how to hit each section and why, then they will watch and analyze as each rider sessions the section. Instant feedback will help you get up to speed as quickly as possible. We will start with turning and progress into hitting a few different obstacles and jumps. This is where you truly start to experience the Rob Drew “Rolodex” analogy of jumping.
11:30-12: Best Practices/Open Q&A: Rob and Richard will outline a typical race day and breakdown how to prepare, both mentally and physically, as well as strategy for tackling various stages. Have your questions ready! This is a great opportunity to pick the brain of a rider who has ridden and raced the gnarliest trails from Colorado to Whistler!
Skratch Labs will be providing hydration for the event, but please come prepared with some fuel to get you through the days activities. **RIDER SKILL LEVEL: Although we are supremely confident that any rider would gain a great deal of confidence and skill from this event, we ask that attendees posses a baseline skill set as we will be covering and engaging in high speed riding and jumping.
Class size is limited to provide a high level of one to one coaching. Minimum number of attendees for event to take place is 8. Refunds will be given in the event of rain
